Visiting Uruguay was one of the best things I ever did. Sandwiched between the two bigwigs - Brazil and Argentina, this tiny South American country often gets neglected by most travelers. But Uruguay is pure joy and I recommend that you visit this country with an open heart and mind.

The capital Montevideo is small but vibrant and eclectic and is known to be one of the safest in South America. Its an easy city to stroll around and enjoy the rich cultural life and if you are a meat lover, dining in some of the city’s steak joints can leave you with some divine food memories.
