Split is the second largest city in Croatia and a very popular tourist destination, so, it is indeed very crowded. It is quite a crazy, mad, buzzing city that doesn’t quite sleep coz the party is on at all times out here. But having said that, this is definitely a destination that cannot be missed while you are in Croatia.
